Frequently asked questions
What counts as a render?
Every successful API call that returns an image, PDF, video, or OG image counts as one render. Failed requests do not count toward your usage.
What happens when I exceed 1,000 free renders?
You'll be billed at the pay-as-you-go rate ($0.005/render) for any usage beyond the free tier. Volume discounts kick in automatically as your usage grows.
Do I need a credit card for the free tier?
No. You can use up to 1,000 renders per month with no credit card on file. You'll only need to add one when you want to go beyond the free tier.
Are screenshots and OG images counted separately?
No. Screenshots and OG image renders share the same monthly quota. 1,000 free renders total, across both products.
Is there an annual plan or subscription?
No. Nodium is 100% pay-as-you-go with no commitments. You only pay for what you use beyond the free tier, billed monthly.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Stripe. Enterprise customers can pay by invoice.
